I graduate from High School next week. A month after that, I start the next chapter of my life and go to Navy Boot Camp. I was just writing my speech for Military Ball this weekend (I am the XO of a high school NJROTC unit) and as i was writing it hit me: play time is over. I've pretty much made it to the real world. It's kinda scary, but it's also exciting. I can't wait for what's around the corner for me, like traveling with the Navy and seeing the world.
Just like I only have two real days of school left, I also only have a little more than a month left with you guys, plus my friends and family IRL. After that, I'm gonna be gone for awhile. I'll still hop on and talk to y'all every once in a while, but it won't be quite the same as before. I'll be busy with my job in the Navy, and I might not have much time to play videogames. Even now, I have to balance my time between you guys and the people I want to see IRL before I go.
There's gonna be another speech about a month from now, but right now I just wanted to say thanks for all the fun times over the last two years. I've enjoyed every minute of it, and there are several of you that I count as true friends that I will miss dearly. A lot of you have various ways to contact me, and I'll spread that around more as I get closer to shipping out.
For now, thanks for everything. Let's have some fun before I go.
